Hey Guys!

Your girl Debbiestelle here!

I started working with Ms. Roxy about a year ago… Very sparatic basis. She liked my hair… And it was HUGE! LOL! In an attempt to get healthy I’ve since cut it, but it will grow back… Anyway, I tried the products and I LOVED them. More importantly, my hair loved them! And thus I became a LocLife girl. Please know that what I write I write with passion because I believe in this! ;)

I am so excited to be a part of something so BIG!!!!! I mean BIG…Like big hair! LOL!

Business is picking up at the salon and LocLife store and and we are getting the opportunity to educate more people about how to have healthy black hair! Yay! For me this is a BIG deal… Ohh that word again! LOL! Guess I have a fascination of the large. I have a large personality and hope that LocLife can reach an even larger number of clients. This is a movement man! And not just to be so… More women in the South and everywhere are realizing that we DO have other options when it comes to our haircare, skincare and beauty products.

We don’t have to be limited to beauty supply store concoctions that contain sulfate and only a small percentage of the ingredients we are looking for. (Is there really ANY coconut in coconut oil? LOL!)

This isn’t about shouting a cause without a cause! Ladies we HAVE other options! We can do better! And thanks to LocLife, we are getting to show that. I’m excited that over time and with care, our hair will thank us!

And now let me introduce to you one of my favorite products. Loc Blancmange. It works like magic for both loc’ed and unloc’ed hair. It is the right combo of conditioner and gives enough slip to work with. It is thick enough to give some hold to my hair (without being hard) yet light enough to be absorbed by my hair.

To be honest, I am usually a wash & go kind of girl but a little extra care can go a long way.

Two weeks ago I went to a formal and did a little something extra with Loc Blancmange. Starting with a wash and light condition with the Coconut spray conditioner. Then I took a good amount of Loc Blancmange and finger comb it through my hair. Once my hair was evenly coated with product, starting at the back, I took medium pieces of my hair and finger swirled into curls. Afterward I let it air set and dry. Once it was done I pulled back with a jeweled headband (hey it was a formal event) and pulled apart about 50% of the curls. The result?

Look how shiny! So now it’s time to do the work again! LOL! My hair? Chil’ (as the older folk would say) a mess! But not because of the products!

I will begin to post my hair story soon… soon… soon… You ready to go on a journey with me?

Until next time!

Grace and peace,

Me!
